On Seminars

Thanks very much for the great seminar. I had originally intended to listen for the first 30 minutes as I had another appointment to get to. However, it was so compelling, I ended up listening for almost the full hour!I have come away with some actions, and food for thought as I plan the marketing of my business. Thank you!

The seminar series was rich with useful information and delivered in a friendly and yet authoritative style. Karen gave us a clear framework, which includes ways of checking that there is a market for any service you want to offer - invaluable advice that could save me a fortune! My approach from now on will be a lot more systematic.

The session delivered a wealth of information about field in a manner I could follow and implement. The use of case studies enabled me to see immediately how the concepts fitted together. The delivery was skilled, well paced and packed with inspirational and motivating exercise and suggestions.

Quite frankly I didn’t want the session to end. I’m no longer outside in the cold looking through a marketing window but have walked through the door and found my seat!

Marketing Programmes

Marketing Magic!

Working with Karen’s Business Builder programme has been inspiring.  I already had a niche but she has enabled me to refine that niche and come up with new ways of marketing it.  For anyone who doesn’t have a niche this is a great way to decide what your niche will be.

The programme promotes deep thinking and sparks off new ideas.  My head is still spinning!   This programme is brilliant. I am sure that anyone who starts this programme will finish it with a well-defined niche and a set of new products to sell that they had not even dreamt of.

A complete newbie

I came to this programme as a brand new coach having not begun marketing my business. Prior to starting, I had listened to and read a wealth of marketing information designed for novices. I felt I had a pretty good idea of how to go about marketing as was raring to go.

Working through the module provided a structure for me to follow to really think about what I want my business to be like - I realised that what I had been pursuing was not my vision and I'm now creating a business that will really will be the one for me!

See the Pieces to complete the Puzzle

The manual and workbook are very comprehensive. It's much more than I have seen in other marketing products.
For example reflecting on what the client is buying, rather than just on what I am selling.

Looking at my goals at different times from now: 3 months, 1 year, 18 months, 3 years.

Most other product only focus on one time frame or none at all. Looking at my business and life at different stages in the future made it feel more real so I can follow the process more closely and see what is reasonable to aspire for and what is not

How to use Twitter

Susan R Meyer wrote: Good ideas for managing Twitter better - thanks!

Jeremy Walker wrote: Thanks for this, I'm an occasional user just starting to pick up again and found the overview and some of the resources pretty useful. You may like to check your links as after p7 they aren't all working in the body content. (HMC - We couldn't get them to work :( )

Connie Bennett wrote: Thanks for providing this, Karen! Kind of you. Just getting going with it now. Will give comments later. Can you tell me how long it took to write and who put it together graphically? It looks snazzy.

Peter Cobbe wrote: Thank you Karen for this excellent guide - it has helped me understand Twitter and I have signed up and will be making good use of it. It is very generous of you to provide this report and much appreciated.

Sharon Eden wrote: Thanks for making this technophobe very happy! Having read through, I now feel I understand Twitter so much better and look forward to signing up. I look forward to receiving more information from you in the future...

Bob De Jonge wrote: I downloaded your report yesterday, coincidentally a minute after you started this thread. I've had a chance to scan over it this morning, and find it a good reference. There are a number of things about which I was aware, as well as many others (especially task-specific apps) I didn't know of. So, I think it has a good balance of information. I do intend to get into some of the apps you outline over the coming week, to see how they perform for me. Thanks for this work.
